From October 1, Delhi requests that Haryana only let BS-VI buses to enter the city

The Delhi administration has requested Haryana to allow only BS VI-compliant buses to enter the national capital from October 1 to assist manage air pollution in the city.

The request was made to address the issue of automotive pollution in the city, which, according to officials in this place, is caused in part by traffic from the neighboring state of Haryana.

Due to a variety of causes, such as stubble burning and vehicle traffic, the national capital experiences significant levels of air pollution in the winter months starting in October.

To assist reduce air pollution in Delhi, the Delhi administration has requested Haryana to start allowing only BS VI-compliant buses into the nation’s capital from October 1.

The request was made to address the issue of vehicular pollution in the city, which officials stated is partly caused by traffic from the neighboring state of Haryana.

In the winter months beginning in October, the national capital experiences significant levels of air pollution owing to a variety of reasons, including stubble burning and automobile traffic.
